Gelila Assefa Puck launched partnership with WISE

Gelila Assefa Puck, Founder and Chair of the Dream for Future Africa Foundation (DfFA), announced the Foundation’s intent to support the work of WISE, specifically technical training to young women and interventions aimed at improving the lives of women living with HIV/AIDS. The Guest of Honor at the launch of the partnership was HE Mr. Michael Arthur Raynor, US Ambassador to Ethiopia. Professor Ephraim Isaac, Chair of the Board of the Ethiopian Peace and Development Center was also present.

Gelila’s husband, Mr. Wolfgang Puck, and their two sons accompanied her in the ceremony. The event took place at WISE Women’s Academy on 2 January, 2018. The guests were welcomed by staff and target women who have made poverty history. The Director of WISE and her staff explained the works of WISE and the guests visited products of the women at the Display Room.

Gelila Assefa Puck is a renowned international designer based in Los Angeles and her husband Wolfgang Puck is a celebrity chef and restaurateur.

Professor Ephraim Isaac is a founder, and the first Professor of Afro-American Studies at Harvard University. He is scholar of ancient Semitic Languages & Civilization, and African/Ethiopian Languages and Religion.
